Around X-mas (in Bkk)

Okay okay... I know X-mas is long gone, and the sale is all ready started at least in Denmark (So what am I doing here...? Shoppi shoppi, Looki looki...) Well I guess I don't need anymore shoes... Or, I don't have room for anymore shoes at least :)
Anyway, once apon a time it was X-mas in Bangkok, and we were there and this is the story told in pictures.

BUT, first it was Evas birthday, never to forget! Even though she once decided to be born the 24.December

There was some pictures from earlier this evening from "Bei Otto" where we had birthday dinner with Eva, but somehow they are gone. (Maybe its an unconsious act from myself, because my parents were there too... Drinking Akvavit and everything tsk tsk...)

Okay, so later we went to this VERY nice jazz-place. Brown Sugar. Reccomendable for travellers who feels like slowing down and listening to some jazzzzz....
And this picture shows that Sverre is going to stay longer in Bkk, than the rest of us. He totally adopted the famous V-asian-style. Actually your suppose to shake your hand, so it gets blurred, but maybe to much drinking...

The famous birthday-smile! (Sverre is just a copycat, but he is doing a good job)

Enough Whiskey-Coke for that gentleman

.... Next day X-mas...

Okay, a very important thing about X-mas was, that we stayed in NICE hotel (with pancakes for breakfast for exampel)

And mmmhh... Slippers!
This was the officiel before-X-mas-outfit. Jenni me and Sverre met in our hotel room, in what can only be named a celebration of old X-mas-traditions. Three countries had to be satisfied, but...

Candy! Worldwide nice-X-mas-trick. Sverre got presents from home. Loads of candy!

(And this picture shows a secret trick for candy-lovers. Look carefully, the Pringles is not fitting the picture so perfect. BUT, every real life-enjoyer knows, that in order to increase your candy-consumption, chips is a perfect break between all the sweet stuff. When you feel like too much sugar, you turn to the chips... And then when you feel like enough chips, you go for sweets. That way you can go the candy-way all day... Ps: This strategy is only recommended on speciel occasions, else it might have a bad effect on your body)

And Grandma Birthes homemade cookies, especially for me :)

X-mas-pleasure

Instead of Disneys juleshow, we watched Friends... (We watched a LOT of friends in our 5 months in Bangkok)

And then after long ours of excited waiting, finally...

X-MAS!!! With presents for everyone!

And later we had a wonderfull x-mas-dinner in a danish restaurant (Sukhumvith soi 8 "Den Gamle Stald, for andre danskere, der overvejer det samme en dag)
Og ja, det var en meget dansk julemenu, flæskesteg, rødkål, konfirmationskartofler og hele baduljen.

But sadly no pictures.

And after a welldone X-mas me and Jenni was heading for Kho Chang. But because of neverending X-mas-laziness (and someone demanding attention (or someones appendix demanding attention)) we stayed an extra day. And we ate more candy, watched Shrek and uhmmm...

Or maybe we just couldn't deal with the enormous mess in our room :) As always... (Its a pleasure living with Jenni, you never feel bad about leaving all your stuff all over the place. If I was living in Conlad-land, where ordnung muss sein, I think they would have kicked me out by now...)

More coming from Kho Chang...
