Finland...

The day after we arrived in Stokholm. A surprisingly cool city. I think I have been there before, but I didn't remember it this nice.

We went to the nice royal Castle... With guys in uniform... Likie likie!

The main task for these soldiers is to remaine unaffected no matter what happens around you. Even though a guy is cleaning the windows...

And then me and Conrad saw the famous Wasa-ship. It sanked on its virgin-journey (is this danglish?). The king wanted two deks of canons, and that made the ship to tall compaired to the width and the weight in the bottom... So as soon as the ship met the first wind it tilted...

The model and the main ship.

This picture is only here because of the ship in the center called "Måsen".. Well in danish... I wouldn't call my ship that ;)

The girls always think about eating... This time something very nice in some sort of a gay place. But the waiter was flirting with Jenni though...

Okay, we got home again, but our tourguides had new exciting plans for us...
We were going to a finnish summercottage to do some finnish traditions.

On the way to the cottage. This two days before the first of may... And they still have snow in Finland... Cold!

Conrad and cottage. (Is he saying "Aaaaaarh!", like we know he do so well?)

Very beautifull wiev... And the sun + lake is nice too ;)

Wauw! But it doesn't look very warm does it? Well scandinavian vikings, we are! Before long we will bring our naked boodies into this lake, that is screamingly cold!

You might think the sauna-thing is a prejustice, you have about Finland... But you are wrong!!! They are obsessed with saunas! And we wanted to go all the way to become really finnish first. And the sauna is just down there... Girls first...

Well, no pictures of course. But we were sweating in the sauna first, and then running to the ice-cold lake. Interesting and nice to try... But I guess I will never be really finnish.
And... Did you know, that in Finland you have saunas in connection with normal appartments, dorms etc. You cannot live a normal life in Finland without having the possibility to go to sauna, whenever you want to. They are crazy in Finland!

Cooking dinner in the fire-place. A nice finnish beer "Koft" on the table. I think it was Conrads favorite.

Disgusting sausages... Adder badder.

Actually Ansi was there too, but I don't have any pictures with him. But it was cool to meet another finne from AIT.

And then we went home. The next day, we had to prepare the "Last-of-April-dinner". BIG tradition in Finland is coming up.
